Pregnancy can be overwhelming! Many people report feeling unclear about the options available to them in pregnancy and postpartum, and when they look for answers they end up getting unhelpful, unsolicited, and/or incorrect advice and information.

This course is taught through an advocacy lens, and is appropriate for anyone who is interested in exploring not only the options available to them as a pregnant person, but also the context surrounding the decisions they make about their care.

I offer two 4 hour or four 2 hour childbirth education classes depending on your unique needs. During these classes we will cover a wide range of topics, including:

Self -Advocacy in Pregnancy, Labor, Birth, and Postpartum
Prenatal Planning; Birth Preferences, Postpartum, Crisis & Safety, & VBAC Planning
The Pregnant Body; Anatomy, Common Discomforts, and Complications
What to Expect During Labor & Birth; Signs of Labor & Stages of Labor
Non-medical Support; Self-management of Labor & Labor Comfort Measures
